RYU Sp'13 Concept:
I was asked to do trend research and designs for a Sp’13 line. Additionally, a full-store concept was requested. I envisioned a 3 area concept for store layout: Men’s to the left, Women’s to the right, and the Center of the store to encompass a unisex Core selection.
RYU, Respect Your Universe, started as an MMA brand that was very male. The intention of the brief and this work was to soften and broaden the brand to get more consumer reach.
